Launch of the 2018 GITEX Technology Promotional Offer
Please be advised that DMCC Free Zone has launched a promotional campaign for the 2018 GITEX Technology Week, to attract, encourage and promote new company setup by offering a discounted package for the first year. The promotion is applicable to clients who show interest in setting up a company in DMCC during the promotional period from 14th October to 22nd November 2018. Applicants must submit their Online Initial Application before the end of the offer period.
Deactivation of the DMCC Business Centre PO Box No. 340505
Please be advised that effective 20 January 2019, the Business Centre PO Box No. 340505 will be deactivated and will no longer be available to use based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Emirates Post Group (EMPOST). The deactivation will be for the PO Boxes located in Silver, Gold and JGX Business Centres. All members will have a period of 3 months to arrange for their own PO Box number and redirect their mails.
A dedicated Emirates Post Service Counter is now open for business at counter 9, level 1, Almas Tower to assist DMCC members who would like to apply or renew their own corporate PO Box.
Launch of the License Renewal Promotional Campaign
Please be advised that DMCC Free Zone has launched a promotional campaign to waive the late license renewal penalty for expired licenses and late license and lease renewal penalty for expired licenses on Flexi Desks and DMCC Business Centre (BC) units during the promotional period from 27 September to 26 November 2018, as an initiative to encourage DMCC member companies to renew their expired licenses and BC leases and continue with their businesses in addition to promoting a 2 and 3 year license renewal discount as part of this campaign.
Updates to the Allowed Number of Licenses under One Flexi Desk
Please be advised that effective 26 September 2018, member companies will no longer be required to have an additional Flexi Desk when they apply for additional license under their existing Flexi Desk. Instead, members can have a maximum of three licenses under one Flexi Desk, provided that they meet the Flexi Desk policy and requirements related to activity, visa quota and other terms and conditions.
Release of the DMCC Health, Safety and Environment Guidelines
As part of our continued improvement of Health and Safety and to assist our DMCC member companies and the wider community, the new DMCC HSE Guidelines have been released. These Guidelines incorporate the HSE Regulations of Dubai and the UAE along with International best practice.
